This dental solution contains fluoride as a sodium salt, which belongs to a group of medicines called caries preventing agents. Fluoride works in three ways to protect teeth from attack by the acids produced by sugars. Unique triple action formulation. 1. Reduces the formation of plaque acids. 2. Prevents mineral loss caused by plaque acids. 3. Promotes re-mineralisation of early decay. Fluorigard Daily Rinse is a mint flavoured mouth wash. This bottle contains 400 ml. Directions for use: Ideally use at a different time to toothbrushing . Rinse once daily with 10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls) around the teeth for one minute and spit out. Avoid drinking, eating or rinsing mouth for 15 minutes after use. Do not exceed stated dose. Excessive dosage may cause nausea and dental fluorosis in children under 7.
